Anechoic chamber, situated under house 7 at the Ångström Lab. Anechoic chamber is an echo-free room designed to completely absorb reflections of sound or electromagnetic waves. (Explanation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anechoic_chamber)

The chamber we have is 9mx9mx6m and can be operated at audio and microwave frequencies. The acoustic and EM shielding of the chamber is very high. Contact Anders Ahlén, anders.ahlen@signal.uu.se for more information. For booking of the chamber you should contact Ylva Johansson, ylva.johansson@angstrom.uu.se (018 471 7283). As the chamber is booked through a separate list, she will check availability and provide you with an access card and further information for the use of the chamber.
