The ICVT (current-capacitance-voltage-temperature) system can be used to perform current-voltage measurement, capacitance-frequency measurements, and capacitance-voltage measurements, with varying temperatures and with applied voltage or light bias. The system is controlled with python scripts, so there is a great deal of flexibility with measurement parameters and design.
The system consists of an Agilent LCR meter (frequency range 20Hz-1MHz), Keithley SMU, temperature controller, mixed LED light source (white, red, blue and green, independently controlled) and closed-cycle pump enabling measurement temperatures of approximately 100-315K. The enclosed sample holder has a maximum sample size of roughly 25mmx25mm and uses one contact probe, and one soldered contact.
